In today’s world, moral leadership has become more critical than ever. Adventist University of Africa (AUA)will be hosting and planning for a multidisciplinary research conference on the theme: Moral Leadership and Social Justice from Multidisciplinary Perspectives.

The conference aims to foster a dialogue and an integration of ideas across different fields and disciplines. It also seeks to explore the vital role of moral leadership in advancing social justice, addressing systemic discrimination, and fostering sustainable societal transformation.

Why this conference?

The objectives of the conference are:

  1. To examine the intersection of Christian ethics, leadership, and social justice in various contexts—advocacy, business, education, governance, healthcare, family and gender issues, human and community development, information management, justice administration, technology, theology/religion, etc.
  2. To critically analyze ethical frameworks that guide leaders in promoting equity, justice, and human dignity.
  3. To share empirical research, theoretical insights, and practical experiences on the challenges and opportunities in moral leadership.
  4. To foster interdisciplinary dialogue on innovative approaches to leadership that align with principles of social justice.
  5. To encourage the development of actionable strategies for leaders and followers to cause and implement ethical changes in their organizations and communities.
  6. To critically examine the intersections between biblical principles, moral leadership, and social justice.
