Food Services

The food services at AUA follow the Seventh-day Adventist concepts of healthful living. These are various meal options on the AUA campus:

AUA Cafeteria

The AUA Cafeteria provides services that follow the Seventh-day Adventist concepts of healthful living. A balanced and nutritious lacto-ovo-vegetarian diet is served. Strong spices, caffeinated teas, and coffees are not served. Students residing at the hostels are provided with a complementary lunch, and they only pay for breakfast and supper. For the meals they pay for, students are advised to make prior arrangements with the Finance Office before they can have meals. The cost of the meals will be provided by the finance office.

Breakfast: KES 500
Lunch (for those that may wish to purchase) KES 750
Supper: KES 750

Market Day

There is a market day on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11am to 3pm outside the campus store.

Self-cooking

Student apartments are fitted with a kitchen and students can prepare their own meals. The University does not provide kitchen appliances.
