Application Process/Procedure
Sign up/ Account Creation
On clicking the link: https://academics.aua.ac.ke/aua
The applicant is directed to the online application web page and prompted to create a new applicant account in order to obtain login credentials.
Requirements:
- Input your First name, Middle name, and Surname in the provided boxes
- Input your phone number in the provided box
Input your email and then reconfirm the email in the provided boxes - Select the programme of your interest and the specialization
On ensuring the above details are correct, the applicant is prompted to click the ‘Create Login’ button to submit the
details.
Issuance of Login Credentials
The system issues the applicant with a username and password which are displayed on the page and highlighted in green.
The same password is sent to the email address the applicant indicated.
Profile Registration
The applicant is redirected to a log in page and prompted to input the username and password provided, after:
- clicking the ‘login here’ or
- clicking on Returning Applicant Login
Profile Management & Education Information
The applicant is required to fill in the section provided, including personal details, contact information, education background, and also to upload scanned copies of an updated CV, purpose letter, passport copy/Identity card, certificates & transcripts degrees according to the level of study and an e-passport photo.
Work History
The applicant is expected to indicate work experience information from the current to the previous work one has done before as well as the referee’s details. Enter the name, email address, and designation of the referees in the online application and click on send to email the link to the referees for completing the online recommendation form.
Verification and Declaration
On completion of filling in the information in the various sections, the applicant is provided with a complete outline of the information in the various sections for verification.
After verifying that the uploaded information is correct, the applicant is prompted to sign a declaration form before being allowed to submit the application form for processing.
Admission
Once the application process is complete, the documents submitted will be evaluated. Thereafter, applicants shall be
communicated the admission status to the programme they had applied for.
