Biography
Daniel Ganu is a full Professor of Public Health at the Adventist University of Africa, Nairobi, Kenya. He earned his undergraduate degree in Theology and Health Science from Andrews University in the USA and his Masters’ and Doctoral degrees in Public Health from the Adventist University of the Philippines. He served as Vice President for Academic Administration, Director of Quality Assurance and Academic Planning, and Director of University Health Services, all at Valley View University, Ghana. He also served as Director of Quality Assurance, Coordinator for the MPH program, and Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies at the Adventist University of Africa, Kenya. He received many awards, including a Best Paper award at a research conference in Germany. He also received an Outstanding Research award from Johnson & Johnson Collaborative Research and an Exceptional Faculty award from Valley View University, among many others. Currently, he is the Principal Investigator of the African Health Study and Editor-in-Chief of the Pan Africa Journal of Health and Environmental Science. He has published several articles in international peer-reviewed journals.
