Biography
Dr. Gabriel Masfa teaches and researches in the areas of church history and Adventist Studies at the Adventist University of Africa, Nairobi, Kenya. He is the author of Seventh-day Adventism in Africa: A Historical Survey of the Interaction Between Religion, Traditions, and Culture (Routledge, 2023), Seventh-day Adventist Historiography: An Introduction (Peter Lang, 2021) and is preparing a two-volume work on Seventh-day Adventists in Africa (forthcoming, Routledge), and “Ellen G. White: Examining Her Contribution and Influence on Seventh-day Adventism in Africa” (forthcoming, Babcock University Press). He has also published several articles in premier journals. He is married to Abigail Masfa.
